Coverage Assistance

Annual Open Enrollment for the Individual Marketplace runs from November 1 to January 15 this coming open enrollment season. It is the annual period when you can choose your coverage for the coming year. During this time, you can compare different plans that fit your needs and budget, and enroll in a plan. If you don’t currently have health coverage, reach out to a Navigator. You may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period and if you are eligible for Medicaid, you can enroll at any time of the year. A Special Enrollment Period is a time outside of the open enrollment period when you may sign up for health coverage due to a qualifying life event, such as losing your health insurance, family changes, or marriage. You usually have up to 60 days following the qualifying life event to enroll in a health insurance plan. Do not delay.
